VEHICLE HEALTH CHECKS AND SERVICING
- Vehicle health checks:
As an independent we have found the most effective way to ensure efficiency is to separate the VHC (vehicle health check) from the service by 2-3 weeks prior, please note this is included as part of your service price. This enables us to order up any tyres or parts that may be required ahead of the service so that we can maximise turn around, our vehicle health check’s last half an hour while you wait & we usually do these on a Saturday.

Services:
JTC includes the VHC , Caliper service ( this has become even more important with the newest caliper designs the pads can become stuck in the body and cause corrosion and pitting) and a road test, these are extras on BMW’s pricing menus.
We are focused on informing the rider and keeping and making sure the Bike is safe and reliable not on corporate ideals. This obviously takes more time, we are a repair and service shop & we do not have a waiting room so you will need to leave your bike by 9am and collect at 4.30pm. We are always happy to take your bike in on the Saturday prior to your service and hold it until the following Saturday if necessary. We charge our labour rate by the hour we do not charge flat rate fixed times.

We stock an array of Genuine BMW parts , where O.E parts are no longer available we use only quality aftermarket classic BMW parts. From starter motors and alternators, chain and sprockets , brake pads and batteries.
RESTORATIONS
- Major restorations are only undertaken in winter months, please contact us if you wish to discuss further.
Thread repairs
We are experts in thread repairs! We can often drill out seized bolts (even stainless steel) if we cannot save the thread we will use a time-sert insert repair.
We have a large number of specialist sizes of time-sert specific to BMW motorcycles.
